Why Revamped Lancashire Pubs are Worth the Visit

When you think of Lancashire pubs in the countryside, you get a hazy picture of wooden tables, soothing music and a car parking area amidst a quiet highway (hazy because the lights are dim, usually). However, pub owners have started taking their premises seriously and some have even shown their sincerity by giving major facelifts to their business.

Beginning from the surroundings, pubs had a very disappointing view – dull and dark along with some fences and parking area. However, a visit to a recently re-launched pub gave a serene view of spruced up gardens and a driveway lit up elegantly to give a dark yet blooming look to the whole structure.

The interiors may be termed as pleasant, with soothing wall colours contrasting the bright colors of chairs. Photographs of Lancashire’s food gurus hang up the wall while the low lighting gives an intimate feel of comfort and romance, with your partner or with food. The whole setting gives you the perfect place to be on a date, enjoy your moments and relish food. Needless to say, the food and wine here are true Lancashire style. Undoubtedly, the efforts are worth a visit indeed.
